Many people that know me today find it hard to picture me as a rapper.  But yeah, I was a rapper and got on stage to rap in front of crowds and my last live show was in my 2nd year in the university at the Miss UNN pageant. It was my first time rapping on stage in UNN and it was my last too. But hey, right before then, I used to be a singer way back in secondary school (Science College). I had a boy band and we were the FLAME in our school…Oh well, we were actually known as FLAME (a.k.a Outlawz for Christ). Okay, go ahead…laugh. Yup. I and my friends came together and we formed that group. Almost every Sunday, we would get on stage in our school’s chapel and sing different songs, including Acapellas. We were tired of having boring chapel services and thought of how to spice things up so we and other students don’t die of boredom. Every time we got on stage, the girls/guys used to be thrilled. Smash Mouth  called off its Memphis, Tenn., show Thursday night (Aug. 31) when frontman Steve Harwell paid a visit to the hospital due to difficulty breathing,   TMZ reports. Harwell's manager confirms to   Billboard   that he was taken to the hospital, but says it "was not an emergency situation." The singer was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, a disease of the heart muscle that can makes it hard for the heart to deliver blood to the body, two years ago. "Whenever he is not feeling great we take precautionary measures just to make sure everything is OK, especially while he is on the road touring," he explains. "The doctor is running some tests but he appears to be just fine and intends to resume the tour tomorrow night in Portsmouth, Ohio. DMW act Mayorkun has defended Small Doctor over his viral masturbating video. Mayorkun said people should stop stigmatizing Small Doctor over the incident as he is only human. Mayorkun, in an interview with HipTV, said the incident could have happened to anyone and so Small Doctor should not be criticized. He said. ‘I think it can happen to anybody because we all have different nature. Most people tend to show what they’ve got to other people. I don’t know who hacked his Snapchat, it’s not a nice thing but we are all human beings so I don’t think people should add a stigma to it. 9ice Breaks Silence After NBC placed Ban On His Song “Living Things” Living Things by   9ice   was banned from broadcast after the Ministry of Health issued a public warning against Olamide’s latest hit song, WO. Although the ban came late because the song had enjoyed massive airplay on different broadcasting stations across the Nation, but then, that brings us to the conclusion that the ban was triggered by the MOH. 9ice   while being interviewed by HipTV has expressed his feeling about the ban placed on his song. He said he would be releasing more songs that the NBC will have to ban soon. In his words; ‘After the ban there was another letter that the song was not banned.
